Press release: Outcomes of the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Retreat

On 30 January 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a press release on the outcomes of the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Retreat.

The meeting emphasised the importance of ensuring that such engagement remains aligned with ASEAN priorities, responsive to current and emerging challenges, and supportive of regionalism, multilateralism and ASEAN Centrality.
